A Stack of Hauntings: The Hidden Layers of Paranormal Interventions
How many layers can a haunting have? Too many to count.
Two recent cases that came across my desk reminded me of a case I had in the last quarter of 2023. These two recent cases may sound like they come from a horror film, but let me introduce you to one of the ones from last year.
In the latter half of 2023, I was on my way out of the heat of Texas back to the cool shores of California. That was until I received a follow-up call from my Dad’s doctor, where the conversation turned into the family focusing on my Dad’s ‘quality of life.’ With the tone of the doctor as well as his language, prioritizing my Dad’s aspects of life instead of focusing on medical treatments or interventions was the mood.
In essence, my Dad’s tumor rate was growing at one a month, with the largest tumor protruding out of his liver into his stomach. Due to his age and the lack of options for an advanced-stage hepatocellular cancer patient, we were out of options.
Before I left the sunny shores of California to make my way back to my Dad, I got a call from a former client of mine. This former client had his company’s warehouse for over ten years. During that time, there wasn’t a peep of paranormal activity. 2023 changed all of that.
